BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Board of Directors is comprised of:

President, Linda Hoffman
Linda Hoffman grew up in Pensacola and was an elementary and special education teacher from 1977 to 1983.  Upon graduating from law school in 1983, she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she practiced law and became an Executive Vice President of Hibernia National Bank.  She returned to Pensacola in 2001 and is currently a partner with the law firm of Carver, Darden, Koretsky, Tessier, Finn, Blossman  & Areaux, LLC.  Her community involvement includes being a director of the Sacred Heard Foundation Development Board and a member of Cordova Rotary.  She has previously been a board member and past president of Manna Food Bank, and a member of the Diocesan Commission on Education, the Executive Council of Santa Rosa Bar Association, United Way Distribution Panels and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.                                                                                                                                                          
Treasurer, Renée J. Miller
Renée Miller was born in Rochester, NY and raised since a child in the Pensacola/Cantonment area. She is a graduate of Tate High School, Pensacola Junior College and the University of West Florida. After graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from UWF in 1985, she has worked in the industry as a management accountant for 20 years. Renée is presently self-employed as a small business management/record keeping consultant; and co-owner, with her husband of 23 years, of Arcadia Self Storage Facility in Pace. Renée has two teenage children and is active with her family at Olive Baptist Church where she serves with the worship drama team and on the finance committee. Passionate about our community and with a deep desire to help and serve those in need, Renée is excited to be a part of the Pensacola Bay Area Impact 100 team.
 
Secretary, Lisa Norris Bernau
Lisa Norris Bernau is a native Pensacolian and her family currently spans four generations. She graduated from The University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and received her Juris Doctor from The Florida State University College of Law. Lisa currently serves as the chief deputy clerk for Ernie Lee Magaha, Clerk of the Circuit Court in Escambia County, Florida. She has served as the Clerk's in-house counsel since 1997. During that time, she has conducted numerous seminars on public records, ethics, and ever-changing Florida legislation. Her community involvement includes: President of the Board of Child Guardians, Inc.; Member of the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association Executive Council; Member of the First Judicial Circuit's Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee for the Florida Bar Association; Member of the Manna Food Pantries Women's Guild, Choir Member of the First Baptist Church of Pensacola; Participant and supporter of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, the United Way, and the Children's Home Society Christmas Program. Lisa is married to Sheldon Bernau and they are blessed daily by their two children, Diana and Benjamin.

 
Past President, Debbie Ritchie
Debbie Ritchie is a native Floridian and earned a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. She moved to Pensacola in 1999 from Monroe County (Florida Keys) where she served as State Representative in the Florida House of Representatives, serving as Minority Floor Leader her last two years in office. Upon the decision not to seek re-election, Debbie joined First National Bank of the Florida Keys as Director of Corporate Relations and Community Development. Debbie currently works as managing editor of the Pensacola Business Journal. Debbie has long been active in community service. Her current involvements include Board of Trustees for Rebuild Northwest Florida and Immediate Past President of the Pensacola Children’s Chorus; Vice President of Children’s Services Center; corresponding secretary for the Escambia County Council of PTAs; and member of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the First Judicial Circuit. Debbie is honored to have received numerous awards, particularly for her work on education and environmental issues. She was named “Quality Floridian” by the Florida League of Cities, “Outstanding Young Floridian” by the Florida Jaycees and was selected for several distinguished leadership programs as a result of her legislative and community service.
 
Board Member, Kathy Anthony
Kathy Anthony, PHR is a Partner of O'Sullivan Creel, LLP.  Kathy is responsible for the firm's business administration and human resources while also overseeing the marketing and training initiatives. She joined the firm in 1998 after a 23 year career in banking that culminated in serving as Senior Vice President and Retail Market Manager for Barnet Bank of West Florida.  In 2002 Kathy was named National Firm Administrator of the Year by the Association of Accounting Administrators and in 2004 she was certified as Professional of Human Resources by the Human Resource Certification Institute. Kathy's professional and Civic Affiliations Include, but are not limited to: Association of Accounting Administrators, Treasurer of ARC Gateway, Member of Board of Trustees of ARC Red Wagon Foundation, Alumni Leadership Pensacola, Member of Five Flags Rotary, Mentor at Hallmark Elementary School and Past Chair of March of Dimes WalkAmerica.  
 
Board Member, Anna Barbee
Anna Barbee was raised in Pensacola beginning at the age of seven. As a product of local schools and a University of West Florida graduate, Anna considers herself a native Pensacolian. Anna has been actively involved in the community since high school and believes that giving back to the community is her small way of thanking a community that has given so much to her. With 15 years experience in the insurance industry, Anna is currently Vice President of Combined Insurance Services of North Florida, Inc., a locally owned insurance brokerage specializing in benefits for employer groups and individuals. She holds insurance licenses in health, life and variable annuities in Florida and Alabama, in addition to a securities license for mutual fund products and retirement plans. Anna's community involvements include: Liberty Sertoma, Baptist Speech & Hearing Board, Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida, United Cerebral Palsy, YMCA of Northwest Florida, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services and she is a 2001 Graduate of Leadership Pensacola. She is also an active member of the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce. Anna is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family and friends.

 
Board Member, Belle Bear
Belle Bear has been a lifelong community volunteer and philanthropist. She has actively served on several community boards and contributed countless service hours to her favorite charities. She was a founding board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. She was a board member for Catholic Social Services, now known as Catholic Charities, and remains an honorary member of their board. She is a Sustainer with the Junior League of Pensacola and was recently awarded the Joan Gonzalez Award for her outstanding contribution to the League and the community. She has also served as a board member for FavorHouse, Girl Scouts and the Women’s Board of Sacred Heart Hospital. She continues to support each of these agencies by hosting events, recruiting volunteers, and contributing her time and resources to the various projects and activities of each.

Board Member, Cindi Bonner  
Cindi Bonner is a Pensacola native. She is a graduate of the University of Denver with a major in Psychology and a double minor is Art and Human Communications. She earned her Masters Degree from the University of South Alabama in Exercise Physiology. Cindi was raised in a family who put philanthropy as a priority. As the generations continue to grow she hopes that the willingness to give with also grow. Most recently Cindi has been on the boards of The Pensacola Sports Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, YMCA of Northwest Florida and a member of the Junior League of Pensacola. She is also involved in many local social organizations. She is married to Chad and is currently a stay at home mom to daughter Lauren who is four and son Chad who is one.
                                                                                                                                                                                                    Board Member, Pam Caddell
Pam Caddell is President of Gulf-Atlantic Constructors, Inc.  She was born and raised in Pensacola in a family of six girls and graduated from Gulf Breeze High School and Pensacola Junior College.  He received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and her M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee.  She moved back to the Pensacola area twelve years ago to go into the family business.  Her community activities include serving on the board of the Baptist Healthcare Foundation, Pensacola Junior College Foundation, Homebuilders Association of Northwest Florida, and Gulf Coast Community Bank.  Pam is married to Phil Caddell, a physical security consultant, and has three sons Jason, Chris, and Will and a daughter, Heidi, a miniature schnauzer.

Board Member, Julie Deao                                                                                                                                                       Born in Mexico City, Julie’s family moved to Illinois where she grew up and graduated high school.  She then moved to Texas, graduated from Texas Tech University and focused her career in healthcare business.  With 18 years of healthcare experience, her most recent leadership position focused on contract negotiations, strategic planning, relationship management and business operations for VHA Inc., a nationwide network of community-owned health care systems and their physicians. Fluent in Spanish, Julie’s community involvement includes mentoring foreign-born students in the Dallas area public schools, and volunteering her time at the Dallas Life Foundation, Texas Tree Foundation, and Promise House.  She and her husband, Craig recently moved to the Pensacola area, and are now proud, first-time parents to their son Sam.                                                                                                                                                                         

Board Member, Barbara Bolling Jackson
Barbara Jackson is a retired obstetrician-gynecologist. She was born in Dalton, Georgia, graduated from Vanderbilt University, and Tulane Medical School. She lived in Atlanta during residency training at Emory University. She practiced in Gulfport, Ms. before retirement. She lives in Perdido with her husband, Dr. Joe Jackson and is an active member of the Perdido Bay United Methodist Church as circle chairman, UMW Board, Vision Committee, Finance Committee. She has 3 sons and one granddaughter.

Board Member, Holly Jurnovoy                                                                                                                                                Holly Jurnovoy was raised in Gulf Breeze.  She is a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School, Emory University and Villanova Law School.  After 10 years in the Philadelphia area, she returned to Gulf Breeze in 1998.  Holly works part time at Emmanuel, Sheppard and Condon.  Her past and present community involvement includes chair of the Young Women’s Division of the Philadelphia Federation of Jewish Agencies, member and president of the Board of Directors of Children’s Home Society, member and chair of the Gulf Breeze Middle School Advisory Committee and past board member of Temple Beth-El. She is married to Steven and mother to Joshua (age 17) and Andrew (age 14).

Board Member,  Carol  Law 
Carol Law, who grew up in New York City, came to Pensacola on her way to Vietnam in 1967 and fell in love with the white beaches and has called the city her home ever since. President of Drug Free Workplaces Inc. third party administrator for companies doing drug testing in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, Carol still finds time to be involved in the community she loves. She is presently President of the Professional and Business Women's Opera Board, Board of Directors of Downtown Rotary, Board of Directors of the Community Drug and Alcohol Commission, and Chairman of the National Drug Free Workplace Advisory Board.


Board Member, Marny Needle
A native of Baltimore, MD, is an executive coach and business consultant.  She has her own practice in Northwest Florida.  Prior to moving to the Pensacola area, Marny was in business in the Baltimore-Washington-Northern Virginia marketplace for over 25 years in banking and in consulting.  Marny works individually with executives, coaching them on improving their performance and that of their teams.   Marny holds a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's Degree from Towson State University. She also holds an advanced degree in banking. She serves on the Board of the Pensacola Women’s Alliance.  She was active in Baltimore community activities, serving on the Board of Visitors of The University of Maryland Shock Trauma, the Columbia Foundation, the Howard Hospital Foundation and Leadership Howard County.  She is a Past President of The International Alliance of Women, an international professional women's network, with over 60,000 members worldwide.

Board Member, Lori NeSmith 
Lori NeSmith, originally from Marietta, GA, grew up in Pensacola graduating from Woodham High School, Auburn University and University of Oklahoma with degrees in Economics and Business Management. She and her husband, Alan, own and operate Oren International, an industrial paper converting and paper brokering business. Her community involvement includes volunteer and board member for Junior Achievement, elderly care volunteer, child mentor and active member of First Baptist Church. She is the proud mother of daughter Caroline. 

Board Member,  Julie Sheppard
Julie Sheppard , a native of Newburyport, Massachusetts, is General Counsel at IHMC. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia and J.D. from Suffolk University. Julie is active in many community endeavors locally and statewide. She is a member of Leadership Florida Class XXV and Chair of the Education Law Committee of the Florida Bar. Julie is married to Phillip Turner and they have two daughters, Marina and Delaney.
 

Board Member, Lori Storey-Myrick
Lori Storey-Myrick was born in Lenox, Ga and raised in Albany, Ga. While modeling for Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, Lori moved in 1993 to Pensacola from Milan, Italy and retired from modeling in 1997. She has owned and has designed for a Greek jewelry company, Thallo, since 2001. Lori's past civic involvement includes: Board member and fundraising chairman with the Alzheimer Assoc. of NW Fl., Adult Literacy teacher; a Big sister in the Big Brother Big Sister program for 10 years and received Big of the year in 1998; Delivered Meals-on-Wheels for two years for Council on Aging and worked with New York City Cancer Society. Lori is an active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Lady Sodality. She has been a member of Impact 100 for the past two years. Lori has been married to attorney John L. Myrick for  eight years.
