First City Art Center is a prominent working art center that cultivates economic and cultural growth for our region.

Project Description

Funding will allow expansion of educational programs to meet the needs of an under-served population of students and adults in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. The project will create an addition to the Creative Warehouse to allow for expansion of the glass and pottery program, and better accommodate guest and will allow FCAC to grow their events and programs and better equip the new pottery spaces.

Community Impact

By improving the class and workshop offerings and capacity through the warehouse expansion project, FCAC will create sustainable income, helping to maintain FCAC into the future, and allowing for a greater understanding of the importance of the arts in the community. The project will allow FCAC to continue to offer the spaces needed and also be able to attract and serve more people.
