Cathy Brown

Cathy Brown telecommutes as Associate Director of Education and lead practitioner faculty for The Fundraising School, an institute within Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She facilitates fundraising training courses and seminars online and in person around the world. Cathy has 15+ years nonprofit management experience, as well as board and volunteer experience in a wide range of subsectors.  She earned a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts from Hanover College.  Cathy’s current community roles include board member of AFP West Florida, advisory council for Nonprofit Center for Excellence at Pensacola State College, and Pensacola Women’s Alliance. She and husband Brian have three adult children, one granddaughter, and her grand fur-babies.

Bronwyn Hindman
Bronwynn Hindman

Bronwynn Hindman is a native of Pensacola. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She began her career in hospitality and event management in the Greater Orlando area prior to returning home to Pensacola in 2005. She has worked for Navy Federal Credit Union for 16 years and is currently a leader in the Learning & Development Department. Bronwynn serves on the PTO Board at Sacred Heart Cathedral School and volunteers frequently to support various programs at Pensacola Catholic High School. She is a member of the Nativity Council of Catholic Women and an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Charlie, and they have two beautiful children.

Our History

IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area was conceived when our founder, Debbie Ritchie, read an article in People Magazine in 2003 about a similar organization in Cincinnati, OH. She organized a few friends and launched our own version of the original IMPACT organization.

Our Leadership

The mission of IMPACT is accomplished through thousands of volunteer hours of the Board of Directors and its membership as well as many generous donations by community partners and sponsors. The Board of Directors is comprised of 25 volunteers, each serving two-year terms. The Board and its President Roz Leahy Brooks provide strategic direction as well as the day-to-day work to meet our goals.
