They can be held alone or in conjunction with a traditional food drive. Because the food bank has bulk purchasing power, with monetary donations, we can process your donation into more meals. For every $10, Feeding the Gulf Coast can provide 50 meals to those in need.
    7. Become a Backpack Program Sponsor: The Backpack Program helps meet the needs of hungry children by providing them with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food to take home on weekends and school vacations when other resources are not available. Backpacks contain enough food for six meals and two snacks: including protein and fruit juices.
